Create appraisal versions

You can create a new version of an appraisal when a property has been improved or changed. For example, if a pool or building is added to a property, a new version must be created to update the valuation of the property going forward.

When you create a new version, you'll set an effective tax year, and the new appraisal version won't affect the parcel assessment until that year.

Create a new appraisal version

Create a new appraisal version when a property has improvements or changes that require a reappraisal.

  1. Go to the appropriate appraisal.
  2. Select Create A New Version.

  4. Populate the fields.
  • Appraisal Status: Select the status of the appraisal.
  • Effective Tax Year (optional): Enter the tax year the appraisal becomes effective.
  • Final Tax Year (optional): If adding an appraisal that is obsolete, enter the final tax year it applied.
  • Appraisal Date (optional): Enter or select the date the appraisal occurs.

The new version is created. This appraisal version won't affect the parcel assessment until the effective tax year.

Tip: To scroll between multiple appraisal versions, select the Version arrows at the top of the screen.
Note: If Market Value Total has been overridden, the override value is used. If it is not overridden, the calculated values for Market Value Total are used for the new appraisal.
